The Joie® i-Base™ LX 2 ISOFIX base is a practical base designed to provide quick and secure installation of compatible Joie child car seats and infant carriers in your vehicle. Designed for everyday convenience, it offers 7 adjustable positions, allowing the base to be adapted to your vehicle and your child's needs.

The base uses the ISOFIX system, providing a stable and precise connection without the need to use the vehicle's seat belt for installation.

7 adjustable positions

One of the key benefits of the Joie i-Base™ LX 2 is its 7 adjustable positions. This allows the base to be adjusted according to the available space in your vehicle and your child's needs.

ISOFIX installation

The base uses the ISOFIX system for quick, easy and secure installation in the vehicle. The compatible infant carrier or car seat can then be easily attached to the base.

To remove the infant carrier from the base, simply press the release button.

Load leg for enhanced stability

The adjustable Joie® load leg provides additional stability and helps reduce movement of the base during travel.

A dedicated zone within the load leg helps absorb forces and reduce energy that may be transferred to the child during a collision.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the load leg can reduce the risk of forward rotation by up to 90% compared with designs without a load leg.

Side-impact protection

The base is designed with additional safety in mind and is compatible with Joie car seats that provide protection in the event of side impacts.

Colour indicators

Clear colour indicators help confirm that the base has been correctly installed. This reduces the possibility of incorrect use and makes everyday installation easier.

i-Size standard

The Joie i-Base™ LX 2 is tested according to the ECE R129/00 standard and meets i-Size requirements.

• Always install the compatible car seat or infant carrier rear-facing when required by the applicable mode of use.
• Never install the base on a vehicle seat with an active airbag.
• Never install the base on a vehicle seat that is not equipped with suitable ISOFIX anchorage points.
